20 Slide Folder for Specimen Transport

The 20 Slide Folder is a robust chipboard folder made using a double wall construction. The front slide protection flaps are made to fold back without risk of damage to the hinge.

Each slide is identified with a number and by an index printed on the front. The slides are easily removed simply by touching either end of the slide. To avoid contamination of the folder by wet sides, the two lid-flaps are indented on the inside.

Available per folder, in boxes of 12 folders or cases of 72 folders.

25 Slide Box for Specimen Transport

The 25 Slide Box is made of high impact polystyrene to securely hold 25 slides. The slots are numbered, with an index in the lid, which is tight fitting to ensure complete protection of the slides.

When the top of the slide box is removed, each slide projects above the edge of the base enabling easy removal of the slides.There is an external slot for content labels. This 25 slide box is ideal for the storage of smaller slide collections, to send slides by mail or for use by students and teachers.

Available in white only as individual slide boxes or in cases of 20.

100 Slide Box

The 100 Slide Box is made of high impact polystyrene and secured with rust resistant, nickel‑plated clips and hinge pins. The bottom of the slide box is lined with cork. To ensure proper slide identification, each slot is numbered to correspond to the index on the inside cover. Boxes will hold 3” x 1” or 25 x 75 mm microslides. Available in 5 colors as individual slide boxes or in bulk cases of 72 (white only).

Plastic Slide Mailers are made from shatterproof, opaque polypropylene with attached snap‑on lids. Rigid yet lightweight, the mailers save on postage. Available in cases of 100.

“See Through” 20 Slide Folder

The “See Through” 20 Slide Folder is a sturdy, solvent-resistant folder designed to hold 20 microscope slides featuring a clear “see through” flip top cover. Micro slides rest upon four raised buttons offering a pop-up effect for easy retrieval and faster drying time.

Multiple folders are stackable in the open or closed position. Cover flaps are secured to the base using five attachment clips. Folders are easily cleaned using warm water and soap and can be used over and over for many years.

It has a transparent cover for easy identification of slide specimen. Available in a case of 15 folders.

Two Slide Mailer Plastic and Chipboard

Two Slide Mailer Plastic and Chipboard mailers utilize a flat design and accommodate two 3″ x 1″ microslides.

The plastic variety has a snap lock feature while the chipboard mailer requires tape to keep it securely closed in transit. These mailers take up less space and make transportation easy.

Chipboards are available in boxes of 100 or cases of 500. Plastics are available in boxes of 100 or bulk cases of 1000.

Prefilled Formalin Specimen Jar

Pre-filled Formalin Specimen Jars are impact-resistant, clear polypropylene jars prefilled with 10% Neutral, Phosphate Buffered Formalin.

These wide-mouth jars provide easy access to specimens. The caps are ribbed and easy to open or close even with wet hands or gloves.

The amount of formalin in the specimen jars is approximately half the volume of the jar.

Available empty, unlabeled or with current OSHA warning labels.

Offered in a variety of sizes, including bulk packs.

Specimen Containers

Specimen Containers are high-density, polyethylene containers that range in size from 4.5 oz to the 192 oz autopsy bucket.

Each specimen container has a translucent snap cap lid. These Specimen Containers are ideal for the long term storage of gross tissue.

Also available is a 4.5 oz container with screw-on cap.

Nonsterile Multipurpose Containers are economical, thermo-formed polystyrene containers that can withstand most chemicals.

Used for short or long term storage of tissue specimens, these unprinted multipurpose containers provide plenty of surface area for identification of specimens.

Specimen Transport Bags with Pocket

Specimen Transport Bags with Pocket are ideally suited to the interdepartmental transport of laboratory samples. The ziplock helps to contain potentially hazardous specimens while the attached full pocket offers a separate storage area for accompanying paperwork.

These clear, polyethylene bags are available as individual 6″ x 9″ bags with a bio hazard symbol.

Supplied in dispenser boxes of 200 bags, in cases of 800 or in bulk cases of 1000. Custom bags available on request.

9100 Slide-Cassette Storage Unit

The 9100 Slide-Cassette Storage Unit is designed for the short and long term storage of microscope slides and paraffin embedded cassettes.

The modular design allows for stacking cassette and slide drawers into a single unit or segregated such that cassette storage and slide storage are completely separate.

A base with lockable casters provides mobility to the unit should it become necessary to move the unit in the laboratory or to a storage area.

Cassette Storage Drawer

The McCormick Cassette Drawer is a two‑drawer system that can be combined with additional drawers and stacked as a complete storage unit or separated for individual transport. It provides an effective means of organizing and filing histology case blocks for future reference. Constructed of high polymer plastic resin, this removable storage system houses 256 standard cassettes and approximately 500 mini cassettes.
